August 19th saw the opening of the school year in Don Juan at
the school Santa Maria Josefa Rossello. The catholic students of the public
school with their teachers were also invited to attend.

About The El Portal de Belén Foundation
The El Portal de Belén Foundation is a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation was established to raise funds that would provide an endowment for the support of the pre-school in Monte Plata and other similar activities throughout the Dominican Republic.
A board of directors governs the Foundation. Nearly all of the Foundation’s administrative expenses are donated by its directors, thereby enabling virtually all of the funds raised to be used directly in support of its charitable mission. Pursuant to New York State Executive Law §174-b, a copy of the Foundation’s latest annual report may be obtained, upon request, from the Foundation or from the New York State Attorney General’s Charities Bureau, Attn: FOIL Officer, 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271.
